Negroni Week is back! The annual celebration of the bitter Italian cocktail is set to run between September 13-19 and there are a number of ways to celebrate.
Imbibe Magazine launched Negroni Week in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charities around the world. Since 2013, Negroni Week has grown from about 120 participating venues to over 12,000 venues around the world, and to date, they have collectively raised over $3 million for charitable causes.
Many bars and restaurants pull out all the stops for Negroni Week, offering their own unique twists to the classic cocktail. Take for example Vancouver’s H Tasting Lounge which is offering a “roll of the dice” where drinkers roll die and each number corresponds with a unique Negroni variation and a donation to Slow Food International.
