It is the perfect time of year to start pouring those bold, flavourful strong ales and fortunately Mariner Brewing has put out a limited release that ticks all those boxes.
Are We There Yet? is a Belgian dark ale which has a complex blend of malt and Belgian candi sugar. The result is a beer that brings out some dark fruit tones with just a hint of spice. Think seasonal flavours like plum, raisin, vanilla and honey. It’s a strong beer at over 8% but let’s face it, you’re not going anywhere so why not enjoy a beer that has a bit of weight to it?
This is a collaboration beer with @thebeerrater who you may remember was part of a group last year that brewed an excellent fresh hop with Parkside Brewing.
