With weeks of self-isolation already behind us, and no clear end date in sight, many of us stuck at home have tried to find ways to maintain creativity and pass the time. Of course, many of us have also turned to alcohol, thus sparking the trend known as the #Quarantini.
Over the past few weeks, quaratinis have struck a nerve with the internet sparking hashtags and posts across all sorts of social media, including Reddit and Instagram. Thousands of at-home bartenders have turned a simple martini into a slapdash of ingredients, some good, some down right apocalyptic.
There are no real rules to the quarantini anymore; whatever you can throw together and call a martini is fair game. But some have truly outdone themselves with their creations.

Sippingwithstella brilliantly incorporated Victoria based Empress Gin!
We don’t know what von_twotone created here, it’s visually terrifying but based on the ingredients and the description it actually sounds quite good!
Heavymuddle proves there is never a bad time for a Aperol Spritz.
We don’t know what a Snowghost is, but after this post from gastronomicallyobsessed we’re going straight to Google to find out!
Quarantinis don’t have to get you drunk. Forbitterforworse designed one with homemade Tepache that looks like you could drink it all day.
It’s quite possible the creation from ellenm0rgan will give you diabetes…
Share your versions of the quarantini with the hashtag #Quarantini, and be sure to tag us @ale_sessions on Instagram so we can update this post with your awesome creations!
