A fresh hop IPA that also has some internet clout behind it.
Finally we’re starting to see the fresh hop beers hit store shelves, and one of the most exciting BC based fresh hop comes from Parkside this year with their Internet Famous Fresh Hop IPA.
This West Coast ale is bursting with notes of fresh grass and pine on the nose, but with an addition of Kveik yeast the beer also has a nice complexity of melon and subtle citrus flavours. This is an unfiltered hazy IPA that clocks in at 6.4% ABV and 30 IBU. But there’s something else special about this particular beer.
This beer was made in Collaboration with the Internet Famous crew of thebeerrater.com, Thirsty Explorers Club, Sea to Sky Beer Guy & Craft Beer Tourist with hops courtesy Northwest Hop Farms . The crew got together to help brew this fresh hop beer from start to finish, and were involved in the general branding and launch of it as well. It’s a creative take on a crowded market of fresh hop beer, and one that also helps support the BC Hospitality Foundation with partial proceeds of each sale.
Internet Famous is available now in select retail stores, at Parkside and on tap around Vancouver.
