The holidays have come early for beer lovers in BC. One of the biggest beer festivals in the province has released some very early release tickets to those looking for a stocking stuffer.
Vancouver Craft Beer Week (VCBW) features more than 100 craft breweries and cideries pouring over 300 beer and cider alongside live music, food trucks and games. While the actual festival isn’t until June 2-3, 2018, the organizers have released early bird tickets as of noon, December 1st.
These discount tickets can be purchased at vancouvercraftbeerweek.com and run at the special low price of $29 for a single day pass or $45 for the weekend. These are only available while supplies last, or until December 31st.
In addition, VCBW has introduced new VIP tickets for both one day, and weekend pass holders. VIP tickets include fast pass entry into the festival, ten drink tokens on admission and a special VIP area within the festival grounds. The VIP areas offers exclusive access to limited beer and casks, food and live music on the VIP stage. Perhaps most importantly, VIP’s have their own washroom trailer which I guarantee will be a HUGE asset during the festival, where long ass bathroom lines are status quo. VIP tickets are $75 for the day, $120 for the weekend.
If you’re planning on going to VCBW, it’s worth scooping up the tickets now, as they will only increase in price as time goes on. To give you an idea of some of the beer being poured at the festival, take a look at the best beer at the 2017 festival.
