While many of us are still gearing up for Halloween, a couple of BC breweries are already thinking about Christmas. Central City and Parallel 49 have announced this year’s collaboration advent calendar featuring 24 seasonal favourites from both breweries.
The Seasons Greetings pack contains brand new beers exclusive to the 24-Pack: 12 from Central City and 12 from Parallel 49. Inside are 5 limited release craft beers that won awards at the recent, 2016 BC Beer Awards.
The packs will hit liquor stores in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in late October. The breweries have included something for the beer enthusiast in everyone, from unique beer styles like sours, stouts, scotch ales, and porters, to tried and true classics like winter ales, IPAs, and pale ales.
Should you be that kid who likes to open their presents early, beer fans will be able to get a sneak peak of the exclusive beers at two public tap takeover events in Vancouver: November 1st at Central City Brewpub on Beatty St., and November 2nd at St. Augustine’s Craft Brew House & Kitchen. Both events run from 6pm-10pm.
